ANOTHER reminder to the general public, that Saturday next will see the staging of the first Patriotic Sports Meeting ever to be held at Awaken. The committee behindi the event, have been more ambitious than any other sports executive in this area as far as prize monfey is concerned and we havt no doubt whatever irut that the result will be a most gratifying one from every point of viewThose who appreciate a major sports fixture with a programme covering every phase of mounted events, athletics and novelties should not fail to attend the Awakeri meeting.
