A New York telegram says thai American women are displaying their political views in their hair styles. The Democrat donkey is represented by hair combed, lip at the sides to swirl into long ears; the Republican elephant by a roll from crown to forehead reminiscent of o trunk. The idea might be imported.into Europe. A .shaven crown would quite well represent the bald vulture head of the Nazi; two pointed swirls \t the temples and a pompadour on the forehead would represent the ears and muzzle of the Fascist jackal; and. perhaps a queue at the nape of the neck, knotted like, a bulldog's, tail, might stand for British democracy. The idea has 'distinct possibi 1 ities. —Yorkshire Post.
