LAST WEEK'S COMPETITION
HOW MANY APPLES? Well I fooled a few of you but most of you were .smart enough to see the little catch. The question was 'If you take two apples from three, how many have, you?' two of course! There were only 25 answers and of that number twelve were correct and so* of course poor old Peter has to go to bed with an ice pack on his head and a bottle of aspirins and try and find the, winners. Well here they are at any rate:—■ Warren Kirk Irene Stowell Rex Major Marion Suckling Betty Wilson Maureen Dines Others correct were Fay Rawson, Pamela Burstall (thanks kindly for the book Pam, it will be very useful), Janet Berg, Barbara Wallace, Trevor Wheeler, Ngaere Huish, Russell Hurst, H. Ranbj*, Evelyn Ross, Leith Stewart, Hylas Stewart. Better luck next time shipmates.
