THE "GOOD ENDEAVOUR" LEAGUE FOR YOUNG READERS ONLY Aboard for the Goodwill Cruise

What ho, what ho, ma hearties. This is ccrtainly more like the weather we enjoy—but gee Avliiz, isn't it col<l at night. Do you know I had to put an extra pillow on my toes last night just to try and keep 'em warm. Even then it took it all its time, to do it. At. any rate the days are Avonderful and sunny. Aren't they? I can see an enormous distance with my high-speed supercharged telescope these days, and I just wish I had some of you on the top of Whale, hill when I go up at noon. Yesterday the sea was like glass and White Island seemed ;is though you could reach out and i poke it .in the ribs. The sun shone on the water which sparkled and dimpled where the wavelets broke slowly on the land. It was a tonic in itself and something that I wouldn't be parted from for hundreds of pounds. Well now II ex-, pect I'd better get on with, the page and stop all this descriptive work. I see I have a good heavy maii again so there should be lots of answers, though I hope they are not all right for I have had too many Headaches of late to be comfortable. Cheerio till next week, Peter the Whaler.
