The Fanners' Co-operative Auctioneering Go. Ltd., report:— Sheep: At their weekly' stock sale held at Hamilton on Tuesday a smaller yarding of fat sheep was penned. A number of outside butchers were operating and prices for prime wethers showed a sharp riseLight and plain sheep were also a shade; firmer. A medium entry of fat lambs sokl read.ily at slightly improved rates. Cattle: A medium yarding of fat cattle came forward. Values for prime ox beef, and cow and heifer beef were slightly firmer than those ruling last Aveek. A large yarding of boner cattle was also penned, and values in this section Avere slightly easier than recent sales. A medium yarding of fat calves, met with steady competition and hc.ro again values remained linn. Pigs: A full yarding of fat pigs and a entry of store and Avean, er pigs came forward. Values for baconers and porkers Avere slightly lower than last Avcek's quotations, but store and Aveaner pigs sold in advance of recent late rates. Chop-, pcrs also sold Avell.
