NEW WAR BADGE

ISSUE TO PERSONS INVALIDED FROM FORCES The institution of a badge lor issue to personnel invalided from the naval, military and air forces and the Merchant Navy through wounds or disablement attributable to service in the present world war, has been approved by His Majesty the King. The Prime Minister. Mr Fraser, in his capacity as Acting Minister of Defence, said that the badge would lie known as the Invalided Person Badge. It consisted of the Royal and Imperial Cypher surmounted by a crown surrounded by a circular band bearing the inscription "For Loyal Service." The badge is one inch in diameter, made 1 of white metal, and fitted with a buttonhole attachment for men and :» brooch attachment for women.
