Ward, on behalf of the congregation then presented a fireside eliair and tea waggon, which he said would, convey to Rev. and Mi's Thomas some tangible measure of the good wishes of their friends in Wliakatane. Responding Rev. Thomas said that both lie and his wife deeply appreciated. the kindly thoughts behind the gifts and trusted that there would be many opportunities for them to be used upon Occasions of their friendly visits.
