THE "GOOD ENDEAVOUR" LEAGUE FOR YOUNG READERS ONLY aboard for the Goodwill Cruise
What ho, what ho, ma hearties. Its your old friend Peter the Whaler speaking again and its right glad li am to see you all again (through the newspaper that is of course). Well now it certainly has been looking like 1 rain of late but so far the weather seems shy. T. hope I'm able to< gather my driftwood up before she comes down too licavily. I'm laying in a winter store, now and I like to get a pretty decent lot, as I do appreciate a nice fire on cold and wet wintry evenings. I think 1113* mail this week is a record. There were, well over thirty letters when I last counted them so I 'spect I'll have to take an hour or two over judging the competition. Good ,lads and. lassies, T am always glad to hear from you and T sincerely hope you'll never forget your old friend. Well now I must get. on to the story. Cheerio till next week P.T.W.
