Monarch Butterflies Plentiful
Whakatane residents from all parts of the Borough report the presence of growing numbers of Monarch butterllies. People avlio desire to encourage these splendid insects about their homes should make a point'of planting roots, or. slijis of the well knoAvn 'Swan' plants, the only shrub upon Avhich they feed and lay their eggs.
