GROUP COMMUNICATIONS NEW METHOD EVOLVED The local branch of the Red Cross Society have received a circular from the Prisoners' of War Enquiry Office, Wellington, setting forth a request from the International Red Cross (Geneva) for the assistance of those seeking easier contact with prisoners of Avar. The "branch is requested to make an effort to collect all outward 25 word message forms and dispatch them in groups of 100 to enable the Geneva Headquarters to avoid the opening of innumerable individual envelopes. In order to meet the cost of postf* age from New Zealand, to Geneva it will be necessary to enclose a 3<l stamp as. well as the 3d coupon, and • therefore, all future riiessages should be obtained from the Post Office. Next-of-kin and others desiring to obtain further information should contact the local secretary, Mrs J. E. Winstone.
