PATRIOTIC ZONE DISTRICTS THE PAPER MILLS AREA

At the llnal meeting of the Zone 'K' Patriotic Commitee last year the Awaken Committee requested that the Paper Mills area he. included in the Whakatane Borough. Accordingly at a meeting last Wednesday Mr H. J. Ryde spoke on the matter of revising the Awakeri boundary, by including in the Whakatane Borough the Paper Mills area. The matter was l'ully discussed and it was: stated that the place of residence and not the place of business decided the district in which patriotic contributions should be collected. It was resolved that district boundaries remain as hitherto.
