LOCAL DANCES
Sir, —I heartily agree with "Not Scotch" regarding the manner in which dances are controlled by some of our M.C.'s. I attend most, of the dances held, in this district and frequently observe couples Fox Trotting during the progress of an old-* time dance, jostling in and out to* the annoyance of the other dancers, others retain their original partners throughout "Chain'" Waltzs. It is surely the duty of the M.G, to put a stop to this sort, of thing or to ask the offending couples: to sit down. This woukl soon have the desired effect. Thanking you Sir. Yours etc., "NOT SELFISH."
