A FAMILY OF ACCIDENTS APPEAL BOARD HUMOUR

Amusement ran through the Morrinsville Courthouse recently when a reservist related the misfortunes of his family to the Armed Forces Appeal Board, regarding tlieir physical ailments. Reservist said lie suffered from heart trouble. "I have a 'bung' heart myself." he advised, "and the neighbours have been doing odd jobs and looking after the farm for me lately.'' He was asked if he had any brothers. '•Yes, two. One has a 'bung'" leg-, and the other has a cut throat!" "A cut throat?" "Well, yes, he had a goitre out," he explained. "He certainly got it in the neclc, didn't he, 5 ' replied his questioner.
