ACCESS TO HOMES
A pica for a privilege for members of the armed forces is made, in a remit from the Southern King Country Sub-province of the. New Zealand Farmers' Union and received by the Provincial Executive in Auckland at its meeting on February 17. It was requested that the Oil Fuel Controller be asked to allow servicemen on leave sufficient petrol to take them to and. from the railway station nearest their homes when buses are not available. * Mr N. J. 15. Dougherty (Ohura) moved and Mr S. E.. Hall (Matatoki) seconded the remit, which will be forwarded to the Dominion Executive.
