I'm going to have the best of fun When Halloween comes here! I've heard my sisters tellin' Of a lot o' things that's queer Of all the things they're goin' to do With cabbages and. things! Of playing tick-tack with a spool All twisted round with string. Kate has a yellow pumpkin, And Ruth and Lois, too; But I! they say, am too little. Tell you what I'll do— I'll just take all those cabbages, And spools and pumpkins, Ho! An' me an' little sister Will have a 'nagery show. An' when tlie.y come to find, us, Guess they'll know then who's big! When they sec cabbages an' pumpkins Dancin' a Halloween jig.
