THE "GOOD ENDEAVOUR" LEAGUE FOR YOUNG READERS ONLY Aboard for the Goodwill Cruise
What lio, what ho, ma hearties. Of all the hot uncomfortable weather, I reckon this is just about the worst. You know that cap of cloud which usually hangs over Whale Island in dull Aveather, well its stopped my view for nearly a week and I can tell you Ifm prcty miserable when I'm misted-in- like this.. Too hot during the day, too hot at nights —why if it doesn't lift soon I'll think seriously of going to live in another climate. I suppose however we would .all growl even if we had the best climate in the world. We should really be very thankful that we live, in this land of peace and plentj r instead of so many other places in the world which are feeling the horrible things of war. Ah well, I expect it gives us some satisfaction to blow off steam. When the weather oppresses us, so Ave can call it—our privilege eh. Noav let me get on with the page. Cheerio till next week P.T.W.,
