LOCAL BRANCH MEETING FORTHCOMING GARDEN PARTY The monthly meeting of the Plunket Society was held in the Plunket Rooms last Monday evening when the follQwing ladies were present: Mesdames Caisley, Shapley, Runciman, A. Bridger, Zinsli, Spring, Cairns and R. Morpeth, secretary. Nurse Armstrong advised that when oranges were procurable! Mr Rivett would handle them for the Society. It would be niecessary for mothers; to obtain the Nurses writ-? ten authority before they could be supplied. No oranges are obtainable ait. present but as soon as they are the public will be notified. The committee decided to hold a . Garden Party on Thursday, March 11. An interesting programme is being arranged, details of which will be advertised at. a later date. lit was suggested that the secretary write .to the Lodge, Whakatane, thanking them for their generous donation.
