The chairman, Mr Boon, asked what was the use of making the appointment if the Board were going to d(eny the inspector the facilities to prosecute, his duties.
The Board agreed to not only make the 'Port Whakatane' avail-
able but also to seek permission for the vessel to operate beyond the prescribed limits in order Ito assist the inspector in his work.
