WAIMANA NOTES
ST. J,OHN'jS NURSING DIVISION
. The fortnightly meeting o? the ; Waimana branch of the St. John's Nursing Division was held last Tuesday afternoon in the "Waimana Hall. There was a good attendance of members, Mrs Kirk continued tha ' Home Nursing lectures, and bandaging was practised. Mrs King was appointed, press correspondent. A report was given on the stall 'held recently for funds to purchase- 1 First-aid kits and equipment. Members are prepared to go- on public duty whenever needed. Members have been asked to attend Home Guard parades, Mrs Wylde' and Mrs J. Ward law were" appointed to attend the next parade. A vote of thanks was passed' to all who,helped and, contributed to the stall, final takings being £18 18s 3d. . Afternoon tea c'oscd the meeting.
