HISTORIC CHARTER
GIFT SENT TO CAMBRIDGE
A beautifully printed and bound copy of the Royal Charters of Cambridge, England, has been sent by the town clerk there to Mr F. T. Ray, town clerk of Cambridge, Wailcato. Contained in the book is a facsimile of the charter of King John, dated May 8, 12017. With the exception of five sovereigns, all Kings and Queens of England from Henry I to Charles XI are represented in tlie charters, which give detailed, information dating back as far as HOD A.D.
