"POST WAR PROBLEMS"
When the last Natzi survivor Is captured shot or hung When Beacon fires are blazing And Britain's bells give tongue The Financiers and Diplomats Will -candidly confess: There ne-er was such a tangle Such a stupendous mess, For the Powers to be, to straighten To clean up and redress Trillions parade with millions On' the ledger right and left, Millions are maimed arid homeless Multitudes more bereft With bereavements heavy burdens Which they alone must bear With hearts and spirits broken Beyond human repair. Unitedly the Nations pray To the. Power that's led. them hitherto For help and guidance on the way Until they see the journey through Then may all the combatants- meet In friendship mutual and complete. God rest the. 'loyal hearts and true' Who did all flesh and blood could do Aggressions evil power to break For the future generations sake. H. SERGANT.
