TAURANGA-WHAKATANE RUN

N.Z.R. TAKES OVER

The-New Zealand Railways Road Services announce 'that it is now opcrating the Taurnnga-Whakatanc road service and has placed a twelve seater car at the disposal of the travelling public. The ;-jrvice will he daily, except Sundays, leaving Tauranga at 11.45, and arriving at Whakatane at 2 p.m. On the return trip the car will leave Whakatane at 3.15 p.m. and arriving at Tauranga at 5.30 p.m. The Tauranga depot is the Road Service Office, on the Strand. The New Zealand Herald is carried on this car hut its arrival at Whakatane is now quarter of an hour later than was the case with Lovell's service.
