CAMPERS AT OHOPE
UNCOMFORTABLE NIGHT UAIX CAUSES MINOR FLOODING The rain, which was welcomed inland by farmers on the plains, was the cause oi' considerable discomfort to those under canvas at Ohope, where several minor washouts arf reported. The number concerned is not so great as might be expected owing to the limited number of campers, but there •were many groups nevertheless who had to seek shelter at midnight in more substantial accommodation. Most of them however take their experience philosophically and look upon it as part of the campers lot.
