WHO IS THE GOVERNMENTS

Sir,—To-day we arc in a state of seige ca the Home front, having a Parliament which no longer func-r tions under the. control of its members. This means, that the people i have no longer a representation to protect their rights and privileges! l-t is a sinister fact that we are following in the tracks, of other forn eign powers; the regime of which, is of tlie Fascist order of regimentation. The unqualified, factor, being price fixing and distribution; forcing the small man out of busk ness to swell the pockets, of the ijionopolixt, whilst the. primary producer is pegged down to> a standard "jriee which does not allow for costs or depreciation. The cost of production and labour (when you can get it) having been allowed to go beiyond an economic point; the primary producer is following the same course, of destruction. Thus wc have what is- called stabilisation. It is time 1 the people of this country should have a clear answer to Mr Holland's accusation, —that Parliament has ceased to function: whilst carrying on a policj* of dictatorship foreign to. the constitution of this country. The question is "Dictatorship" or "Government by the People." Yours etc., W. BRADSHAW.
