Surplus sacks and bags of all kinds have a definite resale value, chaff etc. around. 10s dozen, super bags according to conditions 3s to (is per dozen, cement, lime 2s to 2s Gel per dozen. Users should periodically bundle up their surplus ancl consign them freight forward to merchants in Auckland (per boat) or Hamilton (per rail) The local mercantile firms haVe offered their co-operation in the collecting scheme, any lots, sent them will be forwarded to Auckland on behalf of clients.)
