ADVISORY CAPACITY
REHABILITATION QUESTION
"That, each sub-provincial centre of the New Zealand Farmers' Union appoint a committee to act in an advisory capacity to the rehabilitation committee appointed by the Dominion executive with regard to local land purchase activities by the Crown for rehabilitation of soldiers and that the rehabilitation committee be instructed to adhere to the principle that all costs additional to the bare purchase price of these lands be a charge on the Consolidated Fund and not on the capital value of. the land," was a remit moved by the Mataloki branch at the meeting of the Northern Thames Sub-Provincial Executive of the New Zealand Farmers Union held in Thames recently. The remit was carried.
