The following traffic delinquents were prosecuted at the Whakatane Court sitting last week before Mr E. L. Walton, S.M. Wm. J. Mclvenzie for riding an unlighted bicycle at night way fined ~>.n and. costs J2s. E:lward Hohapata for negligently driving a car in Bridge Street on July 15, fined £2 and costs 175.. Pat llawiri for being the possessor of an unlicensed motor cycle; fined £2 and costs 3 is. Gerald Te Rupe, for selling an unregistered motor cycle on July 11 and costs 125.( Tailii Tuwhenua for riding an unlicensed motor elcle; fined £1 and costs 17s. Alfred Boynton for permitting the use of an unlicensed vehicle a I Waimana,; fined £1 and costs 12s. Ernest Chas Promtt for knowingly using an unlicensed vehicle, was convictcd and discharged. Eric Henry, who admitted driving a vehicle without the nceessary warrant of litness was fined 10s and costs 12s. S. J. Haydcn who failed to produce his license, and was the holder of neither a heavy traffic license or a warrant of litness for his vehielc was fined £2 15s and costs £3 14s Gd on three charges.
