The following gives a concise indication of what Opotiki has done by way of dealing with the drive for the Reclamation of Waste Material. 1. Chairman of Committee: The Mayor, G. S. Moody, l^sq. Hon. Sccyj Mr L. Clark. 2. Committee set, up (seven members). 3. Large depot? King Street (laigc floor space). 4. Goods depot and fully meets requirements of district. Remarks: Sorting and packing of paper in old depot now proceeding. House to house collection ol paper and rubber being organised shortly.
