SEED POTATOES
FURTHER SUPPLIES RELEASED
GROWERS SHOULD APPLY The Bay Primary Production Council have been advised that a recent review of the potato stocks of the country indicated that a further small quantity may still be released in the North. Island. It would; seem that the demand for commercial plantings lias been practically satisfied, but there still remains the farmer grower of a limited area to be catered for, so it is now proposed to release further material for use by this group. lit is. not possible to give an assurance that all demands Avill be met, but subject to reservation for essential services; merchants may release all stocks held by them, so growers desirous of obtaining potatoes for seed purposes should communicate immediately with their usual mercantile firms..
