WOMEN'S LAND SERVICE
LOCAL ARRANGEMENTS
COMPLETED
Machinery now exists for the recruitment of members for the Women's Land Service. Mrs A. N. Grigg and Mrs M. M, Dreaver,, M.P.'s have kindly offered their services in connection with the. recruitment, campaign and it is anticipated they will tour the Dominion at an early date. Any farmer requiring assistance and having suitable conditions for female labour, Avill be required to fill in an application form. The council will then investigate the farmers requirements, the class of work offered and accommodation available., All females beUveen the ages of 24 and 30 years of age have now to register, so this, opportunity to join the Land Service is offered as a useful avenue of employment. Application forms for labour, and enrolment in the Women"s Land Service are jjrocurable from Secretary, Primary Production Council. Whakatane.
