School Teachers Viewpoint "School pupils can say that their brothers and fathers have served in the Avar, but not their school teachers, and I feel that this is unfair to those teachers who can be spared from school duties to bear arms," said a teacher who appeared before the No. i Armed Forces Appeal Board (Hamilton) recently, opposing the Auckland Education Board's appeal for exemption from military duties of male teachers in its employ.
