SUGGESTED WELCOME HOME
MUSTER OF VETERANS
Following Mr C. F. Thomas' remarks at the Farewell Commit tee's meeting last Wednesday anent the need for an official welcoming organisation to receive the men coming home from overseas, the same speaker suggested that it was not too late even now to make an effort. He suggested that the men from this district could be gathered together and tendered a civic reception 011 behalf of the people of the town-
The above suggestion is apparently finding favour in other centres. In Te Aroha last week a number of men returned from Libya were honoured at a civic social gathering and given an official welcome home. „ •
