"This concession," said the Post-masLer-tieneral, Mr Webb, "will rc-. main in force until October 31, and although no guarantee can he given that ihc parcels . posted under it will reach Great Britain in time for Christmas, the. concession will enable people in New Zealand to send cakes and puddings of a greater weight than is normally possible. On no account must gilt parcals exceed 51b in weight. The British Post Office has stated that parcels found l o be over-weight will be seized. To avoid disappointment to the recipients as well as to themselves, tenders should, keep their parcels strictl3 r within the weight limit of 51b gross." i . -
