A SINGULAR ACHIEVEMENT

DUAL MEDALLIST FOR TWO YEARS

Mr T. W. Ward law's well known Green Meadows Stud at Waimana has had the further distinction of breeding and testing a d;ual gold medallist two years in succession. For the year ending Decmeber 31, 1941, Green Meadows Melba was the highest producer in the senior twoyear class for the whole of New Zealand in both the 305 and 365 day sections producing 6671b fat in 305 days and 7651b fat in 365 days.:

•For the year just ending Green Meadows "Queen is leading the whole of New Zealand in the 3-year-olds arid has done 8271b fat in 351 diays and will finish with approximately 85011) fat in 365 days. She will qualify in both tlic 305 and 365 days sections and is certain to be the highest producer for New Zealand in both classes.

Over the last three seasons Green Meadows has tested over 40' heifers under Government Official Herd Test with records averaging approximately 4.601b.fat strictly under herd conditions. (P.8.A.)
