What ho what, ho, ma hearties. Rain, rain, go Lo Spain, never, never come again! I said this yesterday and Hey Presto, the weather cleared and we had a lovely line day. You try it and see if it works. That little rhyme reminds me of another one we used to sing at school when I was a lad, about our headmaster. I don't think Mr Hubbard would mind if I use his name to demonstrate with. An3 r how this is how i 1 went. Mr Hubbard's a very good man He tries to teach us all lie can, Read and write and arithmetic He never l'orgets to give lis the stick. When he does, he makes us dancc Over the hills and into France Then to Turkey, then to Spain, Over the hills and back again. You can just imagine a lot of small boys singing this out in the playground about sixty-three years ago. Anil mark-my words, ma hearties, the masters then did give us the stick, pretty often and make us dancc too. Tlicy Averc good old days though and I expect when you all grow old. and Av'nislkerA* (not the girls) that you too will look back on your school days with the same fond memories as I do. Now I must look at my mail and get on with the page. There are a lot of letters this time so I expect I'll have an awful job judging the winners again. Cheerio till next week P.T.W.
