HOLE IN ONE

REMARKABLE COINCIDENCE BOTH FATHER AND SON The fact that an enthusiastic Cambridge golfer, W. J. Ward, holed in one at the fifteenth (the Crater) at the Rotorua Club's links recently is in itself a sensation, but a remarkable coincidence is also associated with this coveted feat. It sounds almost like a fairy story, but, nevertheless, it is a fact that about 12 months ago at the very same hole Mr Ward's son (now training overseas for the Fleet Air Arm) performed the same remarkable shot. The Crater hole at Rotorua is ]20 yards in length.
