CALEDONIANS FOREGATHER
FURTHER ENJOYABLE . ingleside;
The Whakatane Caledonian Society staged a further enjoyable Ingleside in the Society's Hall, King Street, last Friday evening. The function which was weM attended went with a swing from start to finish and was well in line with those enjoyable evenings for which the organisation is noted. The Rhythm Aces orchestra sup-* plied delightful dance music while the Pipe Band under Pipemajor Pater son provided those lively num-* bers which are so popular with the Society's patrons. Under the M.G.ship of Piper Alf Ferguson the whole programme was full of sustained interest. A Monte Carlo was won by Miss Moore and: partner and a conn petition for a Avorked bed cover was won by Miss Polly Kuka. Supper was served by the Society's ladies committee under the capable control of Mrs M. Craig and Mrs J. King.
