A GOOD GALLOPER Though Rakanui appear;-, to liave been lucky to win the Islington Handicap, his win was well merited, as he ran a great race in tho Winter Cup, and repeated it again. Itakanui has to carry big weights, but if he keeps free of soreness he should get his share in the new season. There are lew better gallopers in commission.
