OHOPE DOMAIN

COUNTY GRANTS £100

DETAILS OF OPERATIONS

In a letter to the Wlvakatane County Council yesterday the Hon. Secretary, Ohope Domain Board, made application for the annual grant to assist in continued programme of improvements to> the Ohope Domain,, A comprehensive works plan was drawn up last year and a start was made on the lower recreation reserve, which was ploughed, cropped and grassed and now awaits planting in suitable trees. A children's playing area was also selected and swings and seesaw erected, and new concrete fire places were set up at different points. A fairly heavy programme is in view this year, and the* council's favourable consideration would be welcomed.
