LEPER APPEAL I Sir, —On behalf of those less fori tunate fellow sufferers on Makogal f Island: may I plead for just a few x f crumbs: &£ assistance in these days - of distress caused by the world unrest. The lepers' war is always with ; t*hem—a fight between disease and I health. These poor stricken people : look for your remembrance and ; somehow, things, after such a re 1 - [ membrane© seem easier to bear. > Your kindness has brightened their days in the past, and I. know that you will not fail them noAv when further serious 'troubles are added , to their hard lot. In all sincerity we believe that t our work will bring a blessing on , our country and will help our war effort, God is never outdone in generositj 7 .
