THE comments of Matron Runciman at the recent Hospital Board meeting, in which the work of the V.A.D/s at the L institution came in for the highest praise will be read with interest and appreciation. Here Ave see springing up in our midst a branch of a new organisation which is already becoming noted, for the: conscientious behaviour of its members and the vital nature of the work it is undertaking. Regarded as a legitimate war service its members have every reason to feel proud of their organisation and its connections.
