FELL ON KNIFE
YOUNG MAORI WOUNDED ACCIDENT WHILE SKINNING CALF A young MaoH of Awakaponga who is employed on Mr Joe Greeke's farm suffered a serious injury from an unusual accident last Monday. The Maori whose name is W. Makamiaka, was skinning a calf when he slipped and fell at the same time losing his grip on the knife which fell under him. As .a, result his fulil weight fell on the blade of the knife which penetrated deeply into his side. He was removed to the W>iakatane Hospital where his condition this morning was reported to be improving.
