ESTABLISHED 1849 How long will the War last ? THE War will last until we of the Allied Nations have mobilised sufficient strength to overcome the enemies of freedom. It follows that every pound we spend or waste on non- - essentials lessens our strength and prolongs the war, Every hour's work that any one of us holds back from the Nation's service lessens our strength and prolongs the War. The Nation's security demands that every citizen take up a full share of the burden; every man, every woman, every firm, every company, every institution. None can escape I responsibility. To this end, this Society is regularly putting into New Zealand Government Loans all it can spare of its members' Life Assurance Savings. In New Zealand and Australia it is doing this to the tune of about £500,000 a month. Already it has lent the New Zealand and Australian Governments over £51,000,000. It will go on giving of its strength in the certain faith that this will help to shorten the War and bring us to Victory. A.M.P.
