RATION SCHEME EXPLAINED

A statement regarding fully-fash-ioned hose of fisle and cashmere, •which has now been excluded from the new special hosiery rationing schemc, has now been made by the Rationing Controller, Mr J. E. Thomas. The impression had been given, said Mr I homas, that all hose of this class had been excluded, but such Avas not the case. "The new scheme provides that fully-fashioned hose of lisle and cashmere may be purchased only on the surrender of M coupons, two of which must be surrendered for each pair as required." said Mr Thomas. "Tlies iim-nder of X coupons for this class of hose has been discontinued."
