DEATH NOTICE
MERRITT.—On July 30tli at her residence the Pa, Whakatanc. Patara, relict of the late Josph Merritt, and mother of James Merritt, Ruatoki, and Mesdames Harris (Auckland), Mitchell (Taihape). Winter (Te Puea Springs) and Whenuaroa (Taihape) in her < 98th year. Funeral will leave the Wairaka meeting house on Saturday (to-mor-row) at 2 p.m. for the Whakatanc cemetery.
