ANNUAL MEETING AT TAURANGA
The annual meeting of shareholders of the Tauranga Co-operative Daily Association Ltd. Avas held on July 21, Mr F. B. iiarlshornc presiding over <1 large altendance ol suppliers. For three seals on the directorate Messrs J. H. Armstrong, T. S. Ferguson and T. F. Kidder were declared elected. There Avere five candidates. The annual report of the directors stated that the output for the ycai\was 2117 tons as compared Avith '2327 tons the previous season, a decrease of approximately 9 per cent. This Avas mainly due to the severe drought experienced during the season. The advanced payments for buttcrfat amounted to £225,(>52, an average of 1 '■>.(>77d per pound over all grades. A further payment of !.72d per pound and a share bonus of .25d per pound Avould make an average payment of 15.(j47d over all grades for the season. The interest on share capital represented .048(1, and made the total payment cquiA*alent to 15.6 ( J5d per pound butterfat.
