KEEP THE HOME FIRES BURNING
If tiny butts of cigarettes Could lire a mighty wood, Or leave a mass of glowing ash Where once a warehouse stood;
Or if a puny candle flame Could burn a building doAvn; If once a cow did kick a lamp. Razing a mighty town— Then Avhy the dickens must I blow And fan my forearm lama To make the log upon my hearth Burst into feeble flame ?
