GERMAN BARTER : SET OF | FALSE TEETH FOR SNOWSHOES German newspapers carry advertisements which disclose an increase of barter trade in Germany, offering to exchange, for instance, dental treatment and a set of teeth for furniture and snowshoes, the British radio reported. The Muncher Neueste Nachrichten of April 4 has the following advertisement, along with others of the same type, the BBC reported: "Dental treatment and set of teeth, in exchange: door, bookcase 1 , peasant furniture, upholstered furniture, oil paintings, carpets, snow shoes. An advertisement in the Berliner Lokalanzeiger of April 1 runs as follows: "Stamp collection to be exchanged against diamond jewelery." Next day someone Avanted to exchange a typewriter against a dining table of Caucasian walnut.
