Ginge was staggering along the footpath when he was stopped by an M.P. "Pull yourself together," the M.P. told the lad. "You're drunk." "How do you know it's: me that's drunk?" asked Ginge. "I can see you, can't I?" replied the M.P. "Have you ever seen me before?" asked Ginge. "Not that I know of," said the M.P. "Then how you can be sure it's me that's drunk?" asked Ginge; "It may be some other bloke altogether."
