Sgt Observer Ken Wallace -vvho has tecently returned from active service in Kenya has returned to Wellington after spending a short holiday with his parents, Mr and Mrs A, Wallace, of Mcrrit Street.
Mr H. J. E. Searlc, manager of the Whakatanc branch of the Bank of Australasia, has received notification of his promotional transfer to the Te Puke branch. His placs in Whakatane will be filled by Mr G< H. Dainton of Te Aroba,
